 The Granite Bay High School (GBHS) Trap  Team was established in 2010, competing with other High Schools and  Clubs throughout the state in the California Youth Shooting Sports Association (CYSSA).   

 As part of the CYSSA roster, the GBHS Trap Team  focuses on youth development, providing athletes an avenue to develop  skills in patience, commitment, self-discipline, and fair play.  And,  while emphasis in firearm safety is first and foremost, giving the athletes  the discipline and confidence to safely operate a firearm, we encourage  the spirit of competition in a team environment.  Our athletes are  committed to honoring the game, and as a result, become better athletes, teammates, and members of the community.
